About America's Child ~ Mission

Honoring our nation's armed forces, America's Child provides educational assistance and physical and mental healthcare assistance for the children of our military heroes: the fallen men and women who proudly sacrificed their lives fighting terrorism and whose strength and courage has kept our nation safe.

America's Child Mission

America's Child was established for the sole purpose of providing college education and welfare assistance to every child whose military parent gave their life to protect us from the horrors they faced on a daily basis. We are committed to providing assistance to the surviving children of our military heroes who have already given their lives in patriotic service to their country fighting our nation's war against terrorism as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and the Philippines, Operation Iraqi Freedom or future conflicts.

Via individual Sec. 529 Higher Educational Saving Accounts funded in the names of the child beneficiaries, as well as general program funds, America's Child helps to provide:
  • tuition assistance, room and board support, books and supplies and other educational expenses to enrolled students at accredited two- and four-year colleges and universities and recognized trade schools.

  • reimbursements for approved and nationally recognized health care insurance programs, including premiums, co-pays and deductibles, where applicable, for children under the age of 18, or to age 22 if continually enrolled in institutions of higher learning.

  • supplemental long-term mental heathcare assistance by providing reimbursements for individual and group counseling and other means available and approved by the America's Child.

  • funding for other charitable organizations that offer direct services benefiting mental and physical health care, scholastic tutoring for college bound children and other activities deemed beneficial for the long-term well being of enrolled children.
The operating expenses of the Americas Child are less than 10 percent to ensure the children receive as much financial assistance as possible.

Values and Guiding Principles
If you know of any surviving children of our military heroes who have given their lives in patriotic service to their country fighting our nation's war against terrorism, please register with America's Child. This will help identify America's Children and qualify those who are in most need of our help -- now and in the future.

America's Child provides higher educational assistance, as well as physical and mental health care assistance to the children who's military parent gave their life to protect us from the horrors they faced on a daiy basis.
